Journal of Crustacean Biology

The Journal of Crustacean Biology is a peer-reviewed, quarterly scientific journal containing articles of broad interest on many aspects of the biology of crustaceans and other marine arthropods, biographies of renowned carcinologists, and pertinent announcements. Papers are published in English only.

Submitting to the Journal

Submission to Journal of Crustacean Biology is open to all … Members have an option of paying partial page charges or no page charges if they do not have support. Non-Members pay $115 per page for page charges. All submissions must be made through the Brill editorial manager at

TCS Copyright Policy

1) If you are a member of TCS and you ask permission to reproduce something in a paper to be published in another journal, we will grant permission (no charge).

2) If you are not a member of TCS and seek permission to use something from the Journal of Crustacean Biology, you must pay a copyright fee of $100.

3) Whether or not you are a member, if you seek permission to use something from the Journal of Crustacean Biology that will appear in a commercial book or edited volume, the copyright fee of $100 will be leveled.  We recommend authors and editors get their publishers to use the Copyright Clearance Center.
