We are pleased to announce the IX Brazilian Crustacean Congress to be held in Crato, Ceara State, Brazil between 6th and 9th November of 2016. The theme for this conference is "Biodiversity of Crustacea: Evolution and Conservation Challenges". We hope to share activities that show the beauty and importance of this paleontological Lagerst├Ątte for the Northeastern region.

The 22nd International Congress of Zoology meeting will be held in conjunction with the 87th Zoological Society of Japan, is going to be held at the Institute of Science and Technology, and the Okinawa International Convention Center in Okinawa, Japan. It should be a great turn out and lots of fun. Hope to see you out in Japan! Early registration ends July 15 (Register now). Abstract submission requires Early Registration.

The Journal of Crustacean Biology is a peer-reviewed, quarterly scientific journal containing papers of broad interest on crustacean biology and other marine arthropods, biographies of renowned carcinologists, book reviews of works on Crustacea, and pertinent announcements. Papers are published in English only, but abstracts or summaries in French, German, Portuguese, or Spanish may be added when appropriate.
